Summary

The Firecracker is one of the most recognizable formats in the entire cigar world, and the concept behind it is exactly what the name promises. David Garofalo of Two Guys Smoke Shop dreamed up the original in 2007 as a Fourth of July exclusive, built around a long pigtail fuse cap and a closed foot that ignites with a blast of flavor the moment you light it. United Cigars took that format and turned it into a regular production line, and the Maduro is the one that hits hardest.

A Mexican San Andrés wrapper over Dominican Criollo binder and a filler packed with Dominican and Nicaraguan ligero means this 3.5x50 delivers full-body intensity in about twenty minutes flat. Black pepper and cayenne lead the charge off the closed foot, then the San Andrés wrapper settles into earth, leather, dark cocoa, and a bittersweet depth that only ligero-heavy Dominican tobacco produces.
