Summary

Matt Booth started Room101 in 2009 after serving in the Marine Corps, and he has never once looked backward since. That's the entire philosophy behind the Anniversary series, which Room101 has turned into something the cigar world doesn't see from anyone else. Most brands do a 10th, a 25th, a 50th. Booth does every single year, and every year the blend is entirely new because, as he put it himself, "every Anniversary cigar is a snapshot of where we are at that moment. They aren't meant to repeat themselves because neither do we." The 17th Anniversary is proof of that commitment. Once again built in partnership with AJ Fernandez at his Estelí factory, this is an all-Nicaraguan puro that comes out of the gate with pepper and spice and then transitions into dark chocolate, roasted espresso, and earth as the blend finds its stride across the burn. Full in body, focused in construction, and packaged in 20-count limited edition boxes that will not be around long. Seventeen years of not repeating themselves.
