From the website of Padron Cigars, “The award winning 1926 serie premiered in 2002 to commemorate Jose O Padron’s 75th birthday. Continuing our tradition, this series is offered in a box-pressed format offering refined tobacco aged five to ten years, then blended to create an exceptionally smooth, complex, balanced full-bodied flavor. For protection, a double band with an individually numbered guarantee number is applied to every label to safeguard against counterfeiting.”

If you’re going to smoke a two-hour cigar, it might as well be the best Maduro in your humidor. The No. 1 Maduro is the longest vitola in the Padrón 1926 Serie, a 6.75×54 box-pressed Double Corona that puts five to ten years of family-aged Nicaraguan tobacco and a deeply fermented sun-grown Maduro wrapper into a format that gives everything room to fully open up and stay open.
The dark, oily Maduro leaf that wraps this cigar comes from the same Nicaraguan farms where the Padrón family grows every leaf in the 1926 blend, fermented to bring out the dense cocoa, espresso, and molasses character that makes Nicaraguan Maduro wrappers unlike anything else in the world. In the No. 1, that Maduro sweetness threads through a full-body profile of dark chocolate, leather, earth, roasted nuts, and baking spice across nearly two hours of immaculate burn that never wavers, never turns harsh, and delivers one of the longest, most satisfying finishes you’ll find anywhere in premium cigars. Double-banded, individually numbered, and built with the precision that has made the 1926 Serie the most 90+ rated cigar line on the planet. When the evening belongs to you, this is the cigar you reach for.

I recently revisited the Padron 1926, and honestly, it’s one of the best cigars I’ve ever had. From the first puff, you can tell it’s special. The draw is smooth and easy, and the burn stayed even the whole way through without needing to touch it up.Overall, the Padron 1926 feels like a true luxury smoke. It’s definitely on the pricier side, but in my opinion, worth every dollar for a special occasion. I’d highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys a full-bodied cigar with a lot of character.

Without any doubt, the Padron 1926 is one of the absolute best cigars on planet earth that can be enjoyed each time you celebrate something special – which is every day that you wake up six-feet above the ground, healthy and free.

Very good flavors, but without much flavor transitions. Good but not great and over priced.

This is hands down one of the best cigars i have smoked. A perfect burn from start to finish. Complex flavor notes, espresso, rich coffee with earth tones, a hint of Spanish cedar and a smooth nutty finish with a faint black pepper spice. Thick, creamy smoke on every pull. Perfect cigar for the perfect occasion. Truly an elegant cigar. Not to mention the outstanding customer service of cigars daily! You guys rock!
