The Torpedo is the most technically demanding vitola in the Padrón 1964 Anniversary lineup — a tapered head that requires more skill to roll cleanly than any standard parejo, and in the hands of the torcedores at Tabacos Cubanica it comes out flawless every single time. At 6×52, the box-pressed Torpedo gives the four-year-aged Nicaraguan puro blend a focused, precise draw that concentrates the smoke beautifully from the tapered tip right through to the wide body of the cigar, delivering layer after layer of coffee bean, hazelnut, cedar, cocoa, and gentle spice across a long, even burn that the format is uniquely suited to produce.
The sun-grown Habano wrapper is applied with the same immaculate craftsmanship that has earned the 1964 Anniversary Series more 90+ ratings than any other cigar in the world — dark enough to signal depth, smooth enough to signal refinement, oily enough to carry the aroma of four years of aging from the moment you pick it up. Double-banded, individually numbered, and built without compromise. This is the 1964 for the smoker who wants precision above all else.

Smoke one after about a month of resting. Good flavor with lots of smoke. Held a nice long ash. Took just over an hour to smoke. The draw seems a little loose but was not still good. It tried to canoe a little bit in the first and final third. Flavor was consistent throughout.

Medium bodied with cocoa, leather, floral, hazelnut, pepper, and vanilla notes. While I prefer the Exclusivo size, cigars don’t get much better than this. Classic Padron draw with a great burn and no imperfections. I always keep at least a couple in the humidor for when I’m feeling celebratory. If you haven’t had this smoke yet you’re missing out!

Talk about smooth, man this Cigar is nothing like anything I have smoked. It puts you in a whole new world of relaxation and makes you forget about everything you are doing. It is a must have for your top shelf Cigars

Yes, It’s Unapologetically a Padron. Flavor..Spice..Strength!!! I’m a true fan of Padron Cigars and just like the legendary AF cigars, I don’t think they make a stick I dislike. As far as this 1964 Anniversary line I tried the Maduro version almost a year ago and loved it. So it was a no brainer to try it in natural, of which I blind purchased a box. Everything was nearly perfect with this cigar. Construction, appearance, draw, burn, long solid ash, aroma, and taste. It was a tad bit spicy so retrohales were limited to once every 3-4 puffs but the flavor produced by the retrohale was a must. Tasting notes of vanilla, cocoa, hazelnut, musty earth, slight sweetness, roasted coffee bean, and cedar were all amazing. Long finish of chocolate, slight leather, and cedar. I love the Padron family cigars. Though not cheap dates, they deliver time after time.
