Matt Booth has never made a boring cigar in his life, and the original Johnny Tobacconaut was about as fun as the cigar world gets. A space-traveling tobacco seed character, an Ecuadorian Connecticut wrapper, playful branding, mild-to-medium body. A great cigar, but not exactly a heavyweight. The Maduro version throws that gentle approach out the airlock. Booth kept the Johnny Tobacconaut character and the cosmic concept, then rebuilt the blend as a 100% Nicaraguan puro rolled at AJ Fernandez’s factory in Estelí.

Nicaraguan Maduro wrapper over Nicaraguan binder and filler means this is a full-bodied cigar from the first light, and the 6×60 Gordo format gives it the room to develop slowly over a long session. Earth, espresso, and dark cocoa dominate the profile, with a density and intensity that builds steadily without losing balance or refinement.
