Summary
"La Lealtad" means loyalty โ and the Garcรญa family has earned the right to put that word on a box. Josรฉ "Pepin" Garcรญa and his son Jaime built My Father Cigars into one of the most decorated cigar operations in the world, rolling some of the most acclaimed blends of the past two decades at their Estelรญ factory. Now, quietly and without fanfare, they've done it again โ opening a second factory in Honduras and releasing their second Honduran production cigar at PCA 2026. The La Lealtad Box Pressed Torpedo is a 6.12x52 that puts the full weight of this new Honduran operation on display. The Ecuadorian Habano Oscuro Rosado wrapper is warm and reddish, oily to the touch, and beautifully applied over a double binder of Honduran and Nicaraguan leaf โ a construction choice that adds complexity from the inside out before the blend of Nicaraguan and Honduran filler tobaccos even enters the conversation. The result is medium-full in strength and deeply satisfying from first light to finish โ steady, balanced, and utterly unfussy, delivering earth, cedar, dark spice, roasted coffee, and a long, clean finish that lingers. No gimmicks. No overblown marketing. Just a Garcรญa cigar doing exactly what Garcรญa cigars do.Additional information

The My Father Blue was an excellent new Cigar, so of course I had to give this one a spin, it was so good I bought a box, do not miss out on this fantastic cigar, stronger than the Blue, but no less Awesome!

Between this and the Blue I prefer La Lealtad. It is pretty much a more spicy version of the blue with more sweetness. Earth, cedar, espresso, pepper, with a natural sweetness. Construction was on point and needed no looking after. I'd call it medium-full. Excellent cigar I'd smoke again.

I am a loyal fan of My Father and quickly picked up a box of the new My Father Blue when it was released. I am glad I tried this one but I think I prefer the blue over this one. The Blueโs flavor was more memorable.

Was really excited to burn this stick when it was released. Honestly, I prefer the Le Bijou, The Judge or the La Opulencia over this one. It's not bad but taste was mostly pepper and cedar.

he La Lealtad by My Father offers a rich, full-bodied smoking expTerience with bold notes of earth, pepper, and cocoa. Itโs well-constructed, flavorful and delicious. Shared one with a buddy after a good long weekend.
