Pepín García learned to roll cigars in Cuba before leaving everything behind and rebuilding his life in Nicaragua from scratch. His son Jaime grew up in the factory. Between them, the García family has produced more highly rated Nicaraguan cigars than almost any blending partnership alive, and every San Cristobal that comes out of their Estelí factory carries that institutional knowledge in every draw. The Golden Hour Magico is the most approachable vitola in the new lineup, a 5.5×50 box-press that gives you about 45 minutes of the full four-region blend in a format that fits a shorter window in your day.

All four García family growing regions, Estelí, Jalapa, Condega, and Namanji, show up in the filler underneath the Ecuadorian Habano wrapper, and in the shorter, narrower format that filler blend reveals itself with more immediacy than in the larger vitolas. Cedar and cinnamon hit first, coffee bean develops through the middle, and the molasses sweetness that defines the Golden Hour profile arrives in the final third and holds clean through the finish.
