Summary

Karen Berger has been making cigars in Estelí since long before most people in the American market knew her name. Her late husband Henry "Kiki" Berger was one of the first Americans to establish a cigar operation in Nicaragua, and Karen built on everything he started, growing the farm, running the factory, and developing the Karen Berger Cigars brand from the ground up at Estelí Cigars S.A. The IXTELLI is the cigar that finally brings all of that history into a single blend. It is her first 100% Nicaraguan puro, grown entirely on her own farm and rolled entirely in her own factory without outside collaboration.

The name comes from the indigenous pre-Columbian words for "eye" and "valley," the ancient way of describing the land that became Estelí. In this 5x50 Robusto, the Habano Criollo wrapper brings a silky texture and rich Colorado color, the Jalapa Habano binder adds a sweet, spicy counterpoint, and the estate-grown Estelí filler delivers earth, roasted nuts, white pepper, and a creamy, slightly floral finish that develops beautifully across a 45-minute smoke. This is Estelí tobacco with nowhere to hide and nothing to prove. It speaks entirely for itself.
