Bought this single locally just to give it a try. I was worried it would be a spice bomb in a Connecticut wrapper. There is some spice but the leather and richness with a dynamic blend of undertones is simply amazing. So I bought a box. Love this one

Pleasant sweetness before lighting up. Nice wood notes and mild pepper with retrohale. Laking in construction before lighting up though. Cap was unraveling and seams werenโ€™t tight. Cigar cracked halfway through and became unsmokable. Had high hopes for this one since the 2024 Sucesor was an amazing cigar.

This was a good cigar. About half the wrapper was the most beautiful Connecticut I had ever seen. The other half was blemished but that could be a one off. Construction was so good I forgot to watch for it. Draw was super smooth. Flavor profile was good and approachable but not so mellow a seasoned smoker would not appreciate it. Buttery notes which I enjoyed.
