Summary

The name means 1,000 days โ€” the time it took Jon Huber and the team at TacaNicsa to get this blend exactly right. The Mil Dias Maduro Sublime proves every one of those days was worth it. A completely new blend built from the ground up, this is the fuller, richer, darker sibling to the original Mil Dias โ€” and the Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper is the star of the show. Dark, oily, and lush, it delivers a wave of milk and dark chocolate, sweet cedar, baking spice, and coffee with cream, all anchored by Nicaraguan fillers from three distinct growing regions and an Ecuadorian Habano binder that adds backbone and structure. The retrohale brings an ultra-peppery punch that keeps every draw interesting well into the two-hour smoke time. Big flavor, medium-full body, flawless construction โ€” the Mil Dias Maduro Sublime is exactly what the name promises.

Fantastic complexity right from the first light. Cocoa, dark chocolate, a dank dark rich earthy sweetness that morphs into ripe fruit and grape like nuances later into the first and second third. Balanced pepper, consistent woodyness. As it settles into the last 3rd I get an abundance of cherry wood notes with hints of coffee and cocoa. Will be buying more.
