Alec Bradley Prensado Robusto (5×50)

Fantastic cigar and one of my regular go tos. First two thirds are flavourful and creamy, last third starts getting a bit overwhelmed but manages to make it through to the end. Excellent service from Cigars Daily as usual and good delivery times to Australia.

Interesting cigar with flavors of unsweet chocolate, wood, leather, cinnamon and spice. There’s a floral note to it, also a sweetness from the wrapper and a spicy peppery retro hale. Long pepper finish. Leaves a sweet spice on the lips. Somewhat nutty, and roasted coffee. Bright flavor profile.

I'm well aware I'm in the minority here... but the Prensado is, to me, a bit "meh." It's not horrible, but I'm not seeing this being a top cigar of the year in any year. But, it may be just the curse of CA's top 25 list, because for whatever reason I'm never a huge fan of their #1 pick. To me, flavors could be a bit more complex and construction has room for improvement. Certainly not a horrible cigar, but not something I'd smoke again with so many other great options.
