Man this cigar is great. Paired amazingly with J. Henry & Sons Wisconsin Straight Bourbon Whiskey. A very nice spice/peppery note throughout. A lottle coffee and I get a cherry cream note on the robusto I didn’t pick up on the toro. Perfect everything. The H99 is hands down the best Liga Privada available right now.

Really good stick! Got five of these to try, and I love them. All the usual wood, leather, and cedar. Spice, but to me a mellow, consistent spice throughout, with subtle sweetness of cherries. The real cherries, not the stuff from the jar or the “infused “ cherry flavor. I paired it with a Manhattan, and maybe that’s where the cherry fruit came into play. They seem to really build upon each other very well. I’ll be trying it again with a good straight bourbon. I wish the stick was even bolder, but I think that’s part of its allure. It is so good that you want more, and you start contemplating a second stick. This is one those sticks that you will smoke until your fingers get hot. I would love it even more in a toro, if I got all the same flavors and experience. Great construction with a little heft to the stick, but no problems with the draw. Definitely going to become one of my favorites.

I’m not a full strength smoker. I want to try the Liga Privada line so I’m happy for the H99. Is this heaven? Perfect drawn, smooth and clean finish, perfect burn and construction. Unbelievable addition to the line for a medium strength smoker.
