Five years. That’s how long Tatuaje Nation has been waiting for the Creature to get its own box. Pete Johnson first introduced the blend in the 2021 Monster Mash sampler and brought it back in 2024’s Monster Smash, but it had never been released in a dedicated full-size format until now. The wait is over. Creature From Tatuaje is a 6.875×52 Perfecto rolled entirely from undisclosed Nicaraguan tobaccos at My Father Cigars S.A. in Estelí — Pete’s not telling you anything beyond that, and the mystery is completely intentional. What the cigar tells you is everything you need to know: dark earth, roasted espresso, leather, black pepper, and cedar building across a long, beautifully tapered Perfecto that gives the blend room to develop from that distinctive closed foot all the way through to a finish that is unmistakably, unapologetically Tatuaje.
