Named after the father and son at the heart of everything — José "Pepín" García and Jaime García — this is their signature blend, their statement, the cigar they put their family name on twice and meant every letter of it. The wrapper is an Ecuadorian Habano Rosado, a warm, reddish leaf with natural oils and a character that sets the tone from the very first draw. The binder is Nicaraguan Criollo '98, and inside, the filler combines Criollo '98 with Pelo de Oro — the same extraordinarily rare Cuban-heritage varietal so prone to mold that Cuba banned its cultivation outright. Pepín and Jaime grow it in limited quantities on their Nicaraguan farms and reserve it for their most special releases. The tobaccos are aged several years before a single cigar is ever rolled at My Father Cigars S.A. in Estelí. The result is full-bodied, deeply complex, and loaded with dark chocolate, black pepper, citrus, and a natural sweetness from the Pelo de Oro that threads through every draw from first light to finish.
