The 10th Jubilee marks the first time Saka has reached for an Ecuadorian Sumatra wrapper on a nationally released DTT blend, and the result is something special. Rolled in an elegant 5.63×48 Corona Gorda at the same storied NACSA factory as the legendary Mi Querida, this cigar pulls from four distinct Nicaraguan growing regions — Condega, Estelí, Jalapa, and Ometepe — layered over a Mexican Claro binder. The payoff is a rich, medium-plus experience loaded with baking spices, molasses, leather, cedar, floral notes, and a persistent pepper backbone that evolves beautifully from first light to final draw. Wow! This is the first Sumatra wrapped cigar I’ve ever had. (I pretty much only smoke DTT) it’s a winner! I’m getting broadleaf vibes from this with a little citrus on the back end. This is a tremendous cigar. Although it is deep in complexity, the smoke is completely approachable and filled with pleasing notes. An absolute WOW for me, and while a little pricier (ok a lot pricier) than my normal daily smoke, this is a luxury cigar that delivers and worth every penny.

Well halfway through the first box while looking at the second full box beginning to think I am running low. If you have not had a chance to enjoy this blend you should pick some up while you still can. One of the best in the whole Dunbarton catalog.

The cigar had a solid flavor profile and development from start to finish. Good combination of earth, leather, expresso, cocoa and nuttiness that all rounded out the cigar really well. Very enjoyable smoking experience that had me coming back for more. The construction was good and held a decent ash with an exceptional burn line that was sharp. The draw was perfection from start to finish. Overall, a very enjoyable smoke that I would recommend but it is set a higher price point that would be more of a “special occasion” cigar (for me).
