Mi Querida, Spanish for “my mistress”, is a medium to full-bodied cigar that is an instant hit. The build up is a seamless Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper over Nicaraguan binder and filler. The first few draws are filled with chocolate, and thick maple sweetness. Into the second third you’ll taste strong coffee and pepper flavors with a warm earthiness. Complex, perfectly rolled, and second to none, you must try one.

I just got around to trying the Ancho Largo and my goodness it did not disappoint! For my flavor profile, this is easily one of the best cigars under $12 I’ve had in quite some time. Notes of pepper, chocolate, earth, wood… balanced with baking spice and honey sweetness. It is certainly on the full-body side.
It reminds me of more potent (and slightly less refined) version of Saka’s Unstolen Valor (one of my favorites).
Excellent cigar!

Some evenings I want a cigar with a bit more kick…this one pushes past medium and is a flavorful delight. From the cold draw graham cracker to the first light of semi-sweet chocolate, this developed broader profiles including cinnamon, pepper, and molasses. The center brought more roasted coffee and pepper, and the retrohale was nearly sneezeworthy. The burn remained true throughout, and the cigar finished with cedar and pepper being forward, but never crossing the line into bitter.

This is a perfect cigar with chocolate, a taste of leather and a sweet retro hale of nice pepper and a what taste like classic Liga Privada. Very smooth. Toothy like a sharks skin. Very much enjoyed this.

Believe the hype. I’m going to need another box soon.
