My favorite Perdomo stick hands down! I have a very large collection of cigars which covers a lot of famous and boutique brands, and the Perdomo 20th Anneversary Maduro Epicure has remained in the Top 3 sticks of my collection for 7 straight years! (Since the Maduro was released back in 2012)
If you haven’t tried this particular blend from the 20th Anneversary line, then you haven’t yet expeirenced the #1 cigar in this popular series, and in my opinion, the best cigar Perdomo makes… PERIOD!

Very dark notes of baker’s chocolate, citrus, a light fruit note, a bread note, some black pepper on the light up. It’s also nutty. Full strength. Chewy smoke. Perfect draw. Very nice band. Good construction, burn lines a little wavy but an excellent Maduro cigar. The taste of the tobacco itself on the tongue is like a 9volt battery and cherries.

In a time where new cigars keep pushing the envelope, I feel its easy to overlook the old greats. This one still stands as my favorite perdomo although the legacy shade grown is a close tie to it. Consistently delicious chocolate marshmallow and graham cracker notes with some spice and a little hint of nicaraguan tobacco nuttiness every time. Very reminiscent of a chocolate moon pie.

This one is always a home run. This has to be one of if not the best cigars I’ve had. My palate doesn’t pick up everything some people say but I know without a doubt this is a solid smoking stick. I’ve had a bunch of these over the years and not one has disappointed me. Cigar was properly humidified as always with cigars daily.
