Description
Mi Querida, Spanish for “my mistress”, is a medium to full-bodied cigar that is an instant hit. The build up is a seamless Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper over Nicaraguan binder and filler. The first few draws are filled with chocolate, and thick maple sweetness. Into the second third you’ll taste strong coffee and pepper flavors with a warm earthiness. Complex, perfectly rolled, and second to none, you must try one.

Sweet tobacco and earthiness throughout. Nice draw and tons of smoke. The burn needed a touch up here and there but I smoked it the day after it arrived in the mail. Medium cigar that picked up a little in the final third. There was a subtle spice in the second third.

The difference between this and the Umbagog is amazing. The refinement of the flavors in this cigar is amazing. This might be my first full box purchase once more room in my humidor is open. Immediately after finishing this stick i wanted to light another one right up to continue the experience.

daily smoke, box worthy, easily one of the best cigars ive ever had and i find myself using it as the model in which i base all my enjoyment from other cigars with, i constantly think “id rather of had a Mi querida blue band” when smoking many other cigars, even some 4x the price or more. steve saka is brilliant, all his cigars are amazing in their own ways, he should really look into making Cigarillos of the paladin de saka though xD

Really good cigar. I would definitely purchase again. I definitely for the coffee and earth flavors. The only 2 things I would knock on it, were a very uneven burn and very little smoke though the middle of the second third. But after that smoked really good and burnt near perfect. Could have been user error. Also a full, but light smoke after the middle of the second third, if that makes any sense. The final third was full of pepper with a slight taste of hay. Not unpleasant though. Good smoke!!!
