This has quickly become one of my go to sticks. I just by chance came upon this stick at a lounge when I was on a vacation. Had one there and before I left ended buying a box. Flavor is just as great as the burn quality. And the burn quality and construction are flawless. This stick is what ended up leading me to Cigars Daily as I couldn't find any other way to get them where I live. And the folks at Cigars Daily are top notch as well! They have definitely made a customer for life. I spend a whole lot of money on cigars. So it is very nice to finally have a place that I can get my favorites shipped to me with such great service!

I am pleasantly surprised at how good this line of cigars actually is..not sure why I'm surprised by that but I am. This particular cigar is very well crafted. It burns well, it's pleasing to the palate and it's consistent throughout the whole smoke. I really enjoyed it's smooth flavors. No bitterness at all. A little sweetness w/some smoky notes(think bbq smells kinda or firewood smell). I really enjoy her offerings. Highly recommend this line to anyone looking for a great, easy smoke that will leave you wondering why you've never tried it before.

Cigar Review: K by Karen Berger Maduro (Toro Box Press 6x52)
Rating: 10/10! but Iโd give it 10,000/10 if I could.
From the very first cold draw, I knew this cigar was going to be something special. What I didnโt know was that it would become one of the most unforgettable, soulful smoking experiences Iโve ever had.
Cold Draw:
โข Fig newton cookie, chewy and sweet
โข Wrapper aroma: chocolate, leather, barnyard funk (the good kind)
First Third:
The first puff opened with caramelized sugar over toasted cedar, wrapped in the silkiest, velvety smoke imaginable. Retrohale brought white pepper and nutmeg, smooth and never overpowering.
Hints of cookie, fig, espresso, chocolate, and leather danced together in perfect balance. The umami was already present and pleasantly salty, which Iโve heard about but never experienced until now. Absolutely stunning.
Second Third:
This cigar spoke to my soul!
โข Old library wood notes
โข Charwood hearth and toasted soft cedar
โข Dark chocolate and espresso continued beautifully
โข Minerality began to develop, deepening the sweet earth into something ancient and wise
โข Retrohale offered smoked leather, white pepper, nutmeg, and a hint of black pepper
I was completely enamored. As a woman, knowing this cigar was blended and led by Karen Berger, another woman in the cigar world, made it deeply meaningful. Itโs a masterpiece, and I felt connected to it in a personal way.
Final Third:
Just when I thought it couldnโt evolve further, I was hit with a blast of smoked dark chocolate and licorice on the retrohale, explosive and bold but still smooth.
Then came something truly special:
โ Smoked sโmores.
Yes, on both the palate and retrohale. That layered flavor of char, toasted marshmallow sweetness, chocolate, and wood smoke took my breath away.
The cigar finished perfectly clean, no bitterness, no acrid burn, even at the nub. It held its ash long and straight, had a razor-sharp burn the entire time, and the draw stayed consistent throughout.
Final Thoughts:
I had to keep stopping myself from puffing too quickly because the flavors were so good I couldnโt help it but I knew keeping the ember cool was key, and I was rewarded for that patience. This cigar taught me that even box-pressed cigars, which I usually find uncomfortable, can be exquisite when done this well.
The Verdict:
This is a case-worthy cigar.
Balanced. Bold. Layered. Elegant.
Itโs a 10/10 in every category and it deserves 10 stars, not just five.
Karen Berger, if you ever read this:
Thank you for crafting this.
Youโve created something truly beautiful, and I would be honored to thank you in person one day. You made a cigar that speaks not only to the palate but to the heart.
