The Metropolitan Host has been one of the best-selling premium cigars in America for thirty years. It started at Nat Sherman, survived the brand's collapse, and came back under Ferio Tego in 2021 with Michael Herklots and Brendon Scott carrying the blend forward completely unchanged. That kind of loyalty to a recipe only happens when the recipe is worth protecting. The Hudson is the newest vitola in the Host lineup, a 6x50 toro handcrafted at Davidoff's Diadema Cigars de Honduras factory in Honduras, finished with the same sweetened cap that has been a signature of the Host line since the beginning.

Connecticut Shade wrapper over an all-Honduran binder and filler makes this a true Honduran puro in everything but the wrapper, and in the 6x50 format you get a full hour of honey, cream, cedar, toasted nuts, and light spice that builds gently and never once gets aggressive. Mild to medium in body, smooth from start to finish, with that subtle cap sweetness arriving right at the first draw.
