The Chapter I is the first cigar ever blended by Antonio Gomez, son of LFD founder Litto Gomez, and it arrived in a format that had never been done before at the factory: a box-pressed Chisel at 6.5 x 58. Antonio worked through almost every wrapper in the company’s reserves before settling on a Brazilian Oscuro leaf from a higher priming than the Air Bender Maduro, wrapping it over a Connecticut Broadleaf binder that had been rejected for wrapper use due to color inconsistency but proved to be the perfect binder for dark chocolate, roasted depth. The result is a medium-to-full body limited edition that earns every bit of its cult following.

The Ligero Natural L400 steps in as the lighter expression of Litto’s legendary Ligero series, a 5.75 x 54 powerhouse built from La Canela estate tobacco with bright, complex Ligero character in a slightly more refined ring gauge than its L500 sibling. The Suave Grand Maduro No. 5 is the newest chapter in the LFD Suave story, a reimagined classic with a Mexican San Andrés wrapper, Nicaraguan Jalapa binder, and Dominican fillers that takes the brand’s original mild-side personality and gives it a bold, dark makeover. And the Ligero Oscuro L400 closes it all out with the same Ecuadorian Sumatra Oscuro wrapper and La Canela Dominican core as the L500, delivering intense pepper, leather, and dark fruit in a format that focuses every note with precision.
