Summary

Sandy Cobas built El Titan de Bronze into one of the most respected small-batch factories in the world without ever leaving Miami's Calle Ocho. The El Titan de Bronze Nicaragua Robusto marks a milestone โ€” the legendary factory's first cigar ever produced outside the United States, rolled at the NACSA factory in Estelรญ and priced for everyday enjoyment. This stout 5x54 Robusto packs a dark Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper over a Mexican binder and all-Nicaraguan filler into a shorter, thicker format that opens up beautifully and smokes with the kind of balance and refinement you'd expect from 30-plus years of Cuban-tradition craftsmanship. Big ring, big flavor, big value. El Titan does Nicaragua โ€” and they do it right.

So I was really hoping this would be a great stick. Unfortunately I was disappointed multiple times with it. Light up flavor was phenomenal and complex. Unfortunately the flavor started dropping off quickly before I could even make it to the first/third end mark. Then it just became boring with dull hickory and pepper. Then about half way in the wrapper cracked and started falling apart before I even got to the band. Couldn't finish it. If the light up flavor held up through the cigar and if the wrapper would gave held up, then this smoke would have gotten a much higher score. I'm hoping I just got a bad one and others are having a better experience.
