Dunbarton’s Sobremesa Solita Red features both the exceptional tobaccos of Dunbarton Tobacco & Trust and the ultra picky blending of Steve Saka. This carefully balanced cigar is made at the Joya De Nicaragua factory with a combination of tobaccos from Ecuador, Nicaragua, Mexico, and the United States. Saka’s adjustment to the original Sobremesa Solita blend produces a medium strength cigar with notes of cedar, cocoa, cafe, and a sweet finish.

Amazing smoke, I think it’s better than the OG Sobremesa, just a little spicier.
Keep gettin’ it SAKA!!
DTT FOR LIFE!😎😎

Good cigar. Personally, the flavor of the original has more punch. I get a chalky chewy body with flavors of milk chocolate and a hint of malted milk. It’s a solid medium smoke with lots of body and musk with very little spice. Perhaps a hint of cinnamon but I get zero pepper. I think the flavor profile could grow on me. I was expecting this to be stronger than the original.

This is one DTT cigar I didn’t care for. The start was fantastic. It had great flavors, plenty of smoke, and almost perfect burn. As I got through the cigar, it transitioned into more hickory and flavors I didn’t really like. The cherry-like, cedar, and baking spice flavors fell away. I am a big fan of DTT, but this one didn’t do it for me.

This is a great stick, I do get some spices but no pepper, more like baking spices, cinnamon, and some nice earthy leather. Fantastic construction, been through three boxes of these so far .. definitely my favorite of all the new releases this year…
