A quote from Alan Ruben on AlecBradley.com, “A great tobacco man once told me- “listen to the tobacco, it will tell you when it’s ready.” When I tried a special estate grown premium tobacco from Trojes, Honduras, it spoke to me, and I listened. The Trojes tobacco delivered flavors and complexities I had never experienced before. The taste was incredible, and the blending process began. Tempus is Latin for time – and it took time to learn, grow, blend and age. Tempus would eventually rate a ‘94’ in Cigar Aficionado, becoming Alec Bradley’s first of many ‘Top 25 Cigars of the Year’. I hope you take the time to enjoy this very special cigar!”
Alec Bradley Tempus Nicaragua Robusto (5×50)
$6.90 – $141.30
Like it’s cousin the Tempus Terra Novo, the Tempus Nicaraguan has all of the fine characteristics of an Alec Bradley cigar but with the hearty flavor of Nicaraguan leaves. It is beautiful in color and construction as well as having earthy and woodsy notes. If you’re an Alec Bradley fan, this is a cigar to add to your collection.

This is fastly becoming one of my favorite cigars to smoke. There is no hit of hard spice in the retro hail at all. It is a very medium to mild smoke has hints of nuts and cocoa and maybe just a little bit of coffee in the last 3rd. Has decent smoke output whatever rated is higher but I had a few burn issues. But all in all a fine cigar will definitely buy more for in my humidor.
