“Amar” means moon in Arabic and love in Spanish — and AJ Fernandez chose that name deliberately. After the devastating 2025 fire that tore through his Estelí factory, the cigar community showed up. Retailers, smokers, fellow makers — people who didn’t have to do anything chose to do something anyway. Amar is his answer to that. Rolled at the San Lotano Factory in Ocotal while the Estelí facility rebuilds, this all-Nicaraguan puro wears a Habano wrapper and carries medium-full strength across a lineup of four vitolas built to stand as regular production going forward.

The Toro is the 6×56 — a wide, generous format that gives the blend its fullest expression, burning slow and even through a profile of dark spice, rich chocolate, cinnamon, and earth that builds in complexity from first third to finish.
