The Sobremesa captures perhaps the most idealistic aspect of cigar smoking. The term ‘sobremesa’ has no direct translation, but it refers to the time families spend sitting around the table talking after dinner. For much of the world, sitting down to enjoy a cigar is the only time we sit down and do anything for very long anymore. Its an outstanding name for a good cigar, and the name is matched with profound flavor. The 1st-grade tobacco in this cigar gives off notes of oak, coffee bean, and cedar with some spice on the back end. It’s a top shelf cigar that typifies the blends of Steve Saka.

Normally a really good cigar will give me a buzz and I get light headed. It’s a shame because I like to kayak with a cigar on the weekends. Bought this Sobremesa after Tim’s interview with Mr. Saka. Took it out on the kayak and was pleasantly surprised. I little sweetness, a lot of richness and best of all no buzz! My new favorite stick and my new kayak cigar! Dave C.

Purchased the sampler back that is in sale and this was the first one I tried. Defiantly have a new found love and can’t wait to smoke the rest of the sampler. This cigar was defiantly full flavored and medium bodied. I highly recommend it.

A beautiful med+ stick to have for any occasion. A great cigar all around and probably one you should keep stored in your humidors rotation.

Good stick. Oaky with cedar and a little spice. Construction was perfect. Very good medium cigar!

Good cigar. Light and smooth. I heard it was strong but I didn’t really think it was myself. I’m not sure if it’s aged but it definitely seemed that way. It has a very light sweetness, fresh bread and peanut flavor to me. I watched a lot of review videos on it but I didn’t really agree with any of them. It does have a tiny bit of chocolate in the draw. Smooth white pepper retro. Very classic type of cigar in character. Very enjoyable. The one I smoked had a perfect draw to it. Very good dark tobacco note. Short finish. Well balanced. It did come up in strength in the final third.
