West Tampa Tobacco Co. White Robusto (5×50)
$10.00 – $180.00
West Tampa White delivers a clean and crisp look, sealed with a guarantee from Rick. When you crack the seal and open the box you will be blown away by what is best described as a work of art! Both the cigar and the packaging are a feast for your senses. Classic, yet contemporary, the lid shares the story of Rick’s family and the journey that he has taken to bring you West Tampa Tobacco Company. The band, big and bold, surrounds a beautiful Habano Light Pink wrapper. Packed with Nicaraguan filler, West Tampa White explodes with flavor and with a body that compliments its rich and creamy profile.

Well done! Very well done! High class cigar. Hats off to West Tampa for coming out swinging with this banger. Loved the light woodsy floral perfumy aroma. Flavor notes to match with creaminess, powdery floral, white pepper, and a bit of cafe latte. Also a nice note of maybe hazelnut or chestnut or similar. Smooth on the finish. Two very small “room for improvement” points were: too much glue on the band and a re-light in the final third. No big deal.
Score 94. Should have and will definitely be buying more.

Giving a cigar a little review. Due to the fact it falls apart upon lighting. Bad construction. The first ones I had were good but this last 10 pack I bought was very bad.

This one is tough, as I believe I would have truly enjoyed it if it were smokeable. The draw was so tight on this stick that I ended up stabbing and stabbing and stabbing with little to no improvement. I eventually tried rolling the tight spots out until the wrapper started to crack. I was left using the band to hold the stick together as I struggled through. Every flavor I experienced while fighting through this one told me I SHOULD love this cigar. So this review is tough for me. It actually ended up giving me a headache from puffing and puffing so hard. I also tried the black label in 5×50 and it was tight at light up, but opened up after the first 3rd. I’m hoping West Tampa sees these reviews, because it seems their 5×50 sticks have some major construction issues related to draw. I will more than likely try another in the future because the flavors fall into my wheelhouse. Hopefully I’ll have better luck then and can update my review then.

i am so very gutted to be giving ricky Rodriguez new venture cigar such a low score. All the reviews are right though. dreadful construction of the cigar. tightest cigar ive ever smoked and two the worst wrapper ive ever had, literally flakes apart and eventually all came off

Definitely not one I will get again. Both cigars were poorly constructed and plugged. By the time I noticed this I could not return them. Not dogging on CD, but west tampa should pay more attention to their rolling

Chris, that’s terrible! I’m going to check in with Customer Serivce. I know not every cigar is for every person, but I certainly believe in West Tampa more than that. Let me have my team send you another white. I hope your next experience will come across much better.
