From Halfwheel.com, “…The Tabernacle starts dry and smooth. There’s a dark chocolate overtone that sits on top of a very earthy flavor with touches of hickory and peanut butter before some toastiness enters on the finish…. It is being produced at Tabacalera AJ Fernandez Cigars de Nicaragua S.A., a factory better known for working with Pennsylvania broadleaf instead of broadleaf from Connecticut. Underneath the Connecticut broadleaf wrapper is a Mexican San Andrés binder and a blend of filler tobaccos from Honduras and Nicaragua, including some from Fernandez’s La Soledad farm.”

This cigar is phenomenal! The is the best Connecticut broadleaf cigar I have ever had and definitely tied for first place in my favorites. So much flavor (earthy, cocoa and leather), even burn, smooth draw, amazing aroma and structure. The first 1/2 inch had a tight draw but after that it was a smooth as can be with a punch cutter. I’ll even say it is better than the LP9, which apparently this is the original blend that Nick used before Foundation. Used matches to light and took about 1 hour and 20 minutes to smoke.

This cigar is hands down the best Connecticut broadleaf cigar I have ever smoked. Packed with notes of earth, cocoa and leather.

Excellent Maduro offering. For those who like Liga Privada, Mi Querida, etc…. this is one you certainly should throw in your humidor.
It has all the maduro sweet-spicy goodness that you’d expect. Love this one.

I am going to give it a 5 star even though I cut it well within the cap and it started unraveling. Being very new to cigars, i could have screwed up but i dnt think so. This cigar has a perfect strength and flavor structure for my taste. Hands down top 2 or 3 that I smoked along with les bijou.

Very good choice for intermediate cigar enthusiasts. Starts off with earthy base with notes of chocolate and hazelnut. After the second third it transitions to a more pronounced nuttiness and a small amount of spice. The end is dry with a prominent spice, but not overpowering. It is mid to full bodied throughout, and can be difficult to finish if your tolerance is low. Overall I rate it a 9.7 out of ten, only missing a full rating due to the fact that occasionally the end can get slightly bitter. I recommend having a higher end beverage on hand if you are less experienced. Definitely would recommend for all cigar enthusiasts. A big thank you to Cigars Daily for supporting my foray into the world of cigars

Wow what an awesome stick. Chocolatey in the beginning. Going in to great leather and pepper on the end. If you’re into broadleaf you gata try this out!

Great smoke right out of the box I got today. Good construction, draw & burn. Earthy, leathery & smooth. Will definitely buy again.

Awesome cigar. Very dark and earthy, faint dark chocolate, strong walnut flavors. Halfway through it became bready. Very smooth with little pepper throughout. Burned for 2 hrs and 20 minutes.
