Southern Draw Manzanita Robusto (5.5×54)
$8.78 – $87.86
La Manzanita or “Little Apple” in Spanish, is a tribute to the strong cultural history of tobacco use by Native Americans. Once you catch a glimpse of the rich red habano wrapper, you will immediately understand the name. Not only is the stogie a straight stunner, it’s a total flavor bomb!

Very good cigar. Definately worth the price tag. The description says mild-medium but I didn’t notice anything mild about it. Extremely full flavored with medium strength. Smooth draw with tons of thick white smoke clouds. Flavors remained consistent from light up to end. I picked up cedar, leather, and a nutty flavor that Tim called toasted almonds in his review so we’ll go with that. Smoked it right after it was delived with no issues. The burn was near perfect and needed a touch up here and there. Glad I bought two.

Strong, well constructed, did not have to relight or fix at all. Hints of green and red apple, cinnamon, almonds and cedar peak through while you smoke. Each draw is something different and exquisite. Absolutely worth the hype.

Wasn’t a bad cigar….It just didn’t stack up well with the others in the Southern Draw line (specifically the Jacobs Ladder and Cedrus). This stick is medium-full bodied with medium flavor. I picked up mostly cedar, pepper, and a nuttiness on the finish. Constructed very well and had no issues with the burn. With my flavor profile and the price point of this stick, I’d much rather put it towards a Jacobs Ladder or Cedrus. Overall, good smoking experience and I don’t think I’ve had a bad one from the Southern Draw line up.

Fruit Sweetness, spice with leather as a background note. The burn was excellent throughout with great smoke. Only complaint is that in the last third it didn’t handle the heat perfectly and some acrid flavor starting coming through. Would buy again.
