Description

The Sobremesa captures perhaps the most idealistic aspect of cigar smoking. The term 'sobremesa' has no direct translation, but it refers to the time families spend sitting around the table talking after dinner. For much of the world, sitting down to enjoy a cigar is the only time we sit down and do anything for very long anymore. Its an outstanding name for a good cigar, and the name is matched with profound flavor. The 1st-grade tobacco in this cigar gives off notes of cedar, nuts, and earth with a subtle sweetness.

Summary

The Sobremesa Brulee is Steve Saka's blend for mild - medium bodied cigar lovers. This nicaraguan blend is covered with a silky smooth Ecuadorian Connecticut wrapper leaf, and it provides each smoker with the top shelf experience of Dunbarton with a super creamy flavor profile.

I love these smokes. They are my go-to cigars. So tasty, such an even smoke. Totally boxworthy. Love me some Saka Brรปlรฉe toros. My only negative is that I canโ€™t get the Brรปlรฉe Gordo., which is an amazing smoke.

One of my favorites. Perfect with coffee anytime of the day.

They say they don't sweeten the wrapper, but they definitely do. It loses a star for that. Just be honest. Also, had construction issues. I had to touch it up several times. Also, the cap was coming loose through the smoke. The price is too high for those kind of construction issues. The flavor was very mild, and delicate. I wanted to love this one, but it was over hyped and overpriced. Also, you need to be honest about the sweetness added to the wrapper. I wouldn't normally be so nit picky, but if you are going to charge over 16 bucks (at time of 2025 review) it needs to be better. There are better cigars with lower price tags.

I have at least one of these daily. With coffee every morning (early) and sometimes a 2nd midday. Just a hint of sweetness and medium body. I love em.

This is box worthy and will always be in my rotation. Cigar Farmer Jeff

Gorgeous silky smooth wrapper, with a fantastic draw and burn. Pinch of salt, honey graham cracker, and floral undertone. A very subtle spice on the retro.

I punched the stick, causing a one inch crack between the cap and the band. Thankfully it was only in the wrapper(which is so thin it is unbelievable for a 14.5$ cigar) so its not leaking air. 1/3 of this toro is gone after 15 minutes. Piss poor construction and steve saka should be ashamed of putting his name on this stick. Compared to a perdomo champagne connecticut, which is 50% less, this cigar leaves a lot to be desired. Its a little better than the perdomo but the construction is just awful. Im not a connecticut guy but i wish i had bought anything else

I am about 7-8 cigars in on my fledgling cigar journeyโ€ฆ I can say that the DTT Sobremesa Brรปlรฉe is at the top of my list. Very smooth, creamy & light. Short draw leaves a buttery taste with a hint of pepper. Exceptional cigar, especially for those new to cigars. This will be in my humidor at all times. Exceptional!

Okay, this mild beauty packs some really enjoyable flavor. Paired with coffee always, and I regret nothing. Super good smoke.

Great stick from Mr Saka. Very nice construction, creamy smoke, smooth flavor, nuts, some sweetness, I bought a box..I have very much enjoyed all of the Dunbarton selections.

Fantastic! Perfect draw and burn. Clouds of velvety smoke. Creamy with hints of lightly toasted nuts and a subtle sweetness. French-toasty goodness.
