Well, this cigar had a small crack towards the foot when I received it, so that is always a bummer, when you go to cut/light it. I fixed the wrapper, just by holding it down so it could catch the burn, once it made its way towards the unraveling area. Anyway,… the flavor of the cap was way too sweet for me, but the aroma was definitely wonderful. Earth, cinnamon, & pepper are the flavors I got, and I was not dissatisfied. Now on to the issue if the “too sweet” cap. For me, it reminded me too much of a cheap gas station, machine-made cigarillo, (only until the final 3rd) so for me it was hard to get a good hit on the flavors in the mouth. However, the retrohale was very nice. Pepper and a cinnamon hit through the nasal cavity in a very nice manner. Once I got to the final third if the cigar, that generic sweetness of the cap/shoulder, just sort of went away, and it was very reminiscent to an AJF type stick. I wouldn’t buy one again, just because it took too long for that sweet flavor to dissipate from my lips. But other than that, I guess I could recommend this cigar to a new cigar smoker who is looking for that sweet taste. I will say, it was worth trying because how else would a person discover different cigars, if they did not try??

One more thing… The Connecticut wrapper, I am not displeased. I just wish the cap wasn’t so sweet. Maybe they could tweak that sweetness a bit to a more natural tasting sweetness, or just get rid of it all together. It would be a 10 in my book, if not for that sweet cap. The draw was good, even with my wrapper issue, and smoke output was awesome and aromas just relaxed me.

Paired this stick with frosty delay cigars daily blend coffee. Vanilla creamer choice was delightful stick the sweet creamy tone paired well. I have a bit of a sweet tooth so the sweetness wasn’t to over bearing. It had some natural creaminess to it that I enjoyed. For the price this stick is quite the bargain. It’s a nice cigar that someone could enjoy in the morning with a donut lol just saying. It’s not mind blowing but still enjoyable for those who enjoy some coffee with their creamer and sugar ^_^ best way to describe the flavor. (I’m talking about the cigar not the cup of jo if you didn’t get the pun comparison lol )

See I actually quite enjoyed the sweet cap. Reminded me of being a kid chewing on a stalk of sugar cane. Then after a draw I’d lick my lips and have the sweet mixed with the honey, and peppery notes i got and it was a perfect mix.

Bougt a couple to try after i heard a lot of people recommending them. My 1st one would not stay lit, so i was frustrated with it, but the second one that i smoked a couple days later was really enjoyable. I liked the sweet cap and did not find it too sweet at all. It was a smooth ride until the last 3rd, then got a tad bitter, but at 4.00 a stick this was a great smoke. I will be buying more soon.

100% lived up to the name sweets although I don’t feel it was too overwhelming . Definitely smoked better then a $4 stick . I had a nice evening smoking this with a mojito . I wouldn’t mind keeping a few of these around .

Great choice for a daily stick if like sweets. Yes, the cap is pretty sweet but I like it. It’s a very mild smoke and is great for beginners or someone who likes sweet cap cigars that are mild and smooth. In my personal opinion, the price doesn’t reflect the quality on these. The construction is also very good on these as well as consistent. They have what I’d call a medium draw, meaning its not tight or loose. Definitely will be keeping a box on hand at all times.

Sweet tip was the only enjoyable part.(PAUSE). Cigar didnt have a good taste. Smoked less than an inch and stopped.

Great smoke! The first third is mildly sweet and creamy. The second third kicks up the spice just enough. By the final third the sweetness has stayed consistent. It is not sweet like a blondie maduro is. It is just the right amount of sweet while still maintaining a regular cigar taste.

The initial light up was smooth and easy going, very good draw. A mild strength in flavor to me. I’ve been smoking cigars for only a few months now so my pallets doesn’t catch all the fine details just yet. But I got some wood and earth notes. But by no means did it taste like dirt… The sweet cap wasn’t too sweet for me (I do have a strong sweet tooth though). But it was not artificial tasting and it reminds me of chewing on sugar cane as someone else above in the reviews has said. I did have a hang up right into the 2/3rd of the stick. A quick touch up resolved it easily. The rest was a very enjoyable smoke.
