Summary

The Rough Rider Sweets Candela is where tradition meets a touch of playful sweetness. Draped in a striking green candela wrapper, this cigar delivers the classic look and creamy flavor that candela lovers crave, while also weaving in the signature Rough Rider sweetened cap. Beneath the wrapper, youโ€™ll find a Dominican binder and a hearty mix of Dominican long-fillers, creating a mellow-to-medium profile that smokes smooth from start to finish.

Each puff opens with grassy, herbal notes that candela is known for, layered with hints of cream, cedar, and a natural sweetness that lingers on the lips. The sweetened cap ties everything together, giving this cigar an approachable edge that both new smokers and seasoned aficionados can enjoy. Perfect for a daytime smoke or when you want something lighter and refreshing, the Rough Rider Sweets Candela is a unique blend that stands out in any humidor.

The I donโ€™t understand the other two reviews being so low. This stick burns even and has a nice creamy flavor. The wrapper gives off a nice tasty oil onto your lips. Only downside I would say and itโ€™s not even a big deal, but they do seem to be densely packed so the draw is a little more restrictive but not so bad that you need to stick anything in it to open it up. I would suggest trying them.

Love Candela cigars, but not this one . Too sweet from cap and basic flat flavor.

I don't know how I feel about this one. It had the cream, cedar, and sweetness as described. I don't know if it was the sweet cap or what but it had my mouth tasting like novocaine. Not a fan of that part.
