Punch Diablo Scamp (6-1/8×50)

Oh ya, this is called punch for a reason! Wonderful smoke with lots of pepper hits. Upon lighting my palate was hit with a nice pepper bite and a lot of barnyard hay notes, i didnt get much chocolate just mostly spice and hay which was lovely. A good strong cigar that lasted a good while! Would buy these again for sure.

This cigar is a little lumpy and bumpy with some thick veins, and the seams have shadows. The “Cut and a light” kicks off like a bull out the gate with a fresh leather punch to the mouth. Into the first third, the bull turned lamb with some coco mixed with espresso or, it’s a light chocolate I’m tasting. When I seen this cigar of top 25 with a name like Diablo I was thinking nasal killer, but there isn’t much pepper in the retro hale yet, kind of enjoyable so far. In the second third, there’s a coffee aftertaste with a light hint of chocolate still. This thing is actually burning down really evenly. It says full body but I don’t believe it is. It does have a strong taste but the flavor profile seems more simple and not that complex, I’m only picking out about four different things here. Really, it’s kinda sweet so far. At times it has a roasted nutty retro hale. The ash fell off at about one inch the first time. The flavors are leathery espresso with a coffee finish that turns sweet on the pallet with a toasted almond retro hale, not much changing up here in the end of the second third. Into the final third it seem like I’m tasting toasted leather with black coffee bean. An interesting flavor has come in that I can really identify. The chocolate has turned more dark. Did my first touch up. I’d have to say I’m surprised with this punch cigar, it’s not your typical punch that I’m use to. There is some pepper starting to develop in the retro hale now, and the strength has picked up a bit. It’s light on the nicotine side. Medium plus body. This cigar was sorta creamy sweet with muted chocolate notes.

Cigar is tight. There’s barely any give when you squeeze it. Expected the draw to be bad but it wasn’t . Great flavor that got better the more I smoked.
