Oliva Serie V Torpedo (6×56)
$13.42 – $289.80
The Oliva family has been cultivating tobacco since 1886, and they are renowned for the impeccable quality of the leaf they produce. The Serie V, perhaps Oliva’s finest achievement, has received over thirty 90+ ratings in its illustrious tenure on the market, and is one of the most famous and distinguished blends among cigar smokers around the world. Crafted from prime Nicaraguan Ligero grown in the rich Jalapa Valley of Nicaragua, the Serie V is covered with an oily Ecuadorian Habano sun grown wrapper, and offers smooth yet bold flavors of coffee, spice, chocolate, and natural tobacco. What are you waiting for? The Serie V has a pedigree that speaks for itself!

I have tried multiple Oliva cigars. These are good but even with different levels of humidity they have a tight construction and don’t draw the best even when using a draw enhancer. I’d look to other cigars in the serie v lineup.

This cigar is certainly stronger than your average Oliva Serie V. It’s full body, and has a little bit of spice on the end note. I would recommend it if you like a strong, full body somewhat spicy cigar. Not my favorite of the bunch, but a torpedo is always a nice smoke either way!

I tried one and enjoyed the smoke enough to buy a 5 pack. Since I don’t smoke many often, I did not want to buy a box. When I’ve cruised, I generally smoke Cohiba from Cuba and while this doesn’t compare with a Cuban, it is a very good, full flavored cigar with almost no bite. It burned well and evenly with a very good draw. Neither cigar needed re-lighting. The first third was extremely smooth while the last two thirds made me slightly dizzy. No complaints about that. A very good cigar at a very moderate price. I recommend it for flavor, draw and price point.
