In like-kind it is full of complex flavors and wrapped in a beautiful Ecuadorian Connecticut wrapper. Surrounded in an elegant band, this is one to present right up front in your humidor.
Description
From My Father’s website: My Father Connecticut is going to be an extension of the already existing line My Father and My Father Le Bijou; the cigar is blended by Jose “Pepin” Garcia and his son Jaime Garcia at the My Father Cigar Factory in Nicaragua It features an Ecuadorian Connecticut wrapper, Nicaragua Corojo 99 Binder and Nicaragua Habano-Criollo filler, all the tobacco coming out of the Garcia’s farms with the exception of the wrapper which comes from Ecuador. This cigar also features a very unique aromatic leaf that gives the cigar aromas and flavors; a special fermentation process was given to this particular type of tobacco in order for it to release all the aromas and flavors that the Garcias were looking for to finish the last touch of this blend.

While more full bodied cigars are what I think of when I hear “My Father” … their Connecticut is a welcome alternative.
Their take on a Connecticut blend hits all the marks when I’m looking for something a bit more on the mild side – creamy, nutty, complex .. with a nice balance of spice. A nice graham cracker note as well comes and goes.
A great bang for the buck. I’m a 91 on this one.

Great creamy connecticut! Smooth draw, perfect burn, and tons of thick white smoke clouds. I very good nutty mild cigar. Perfect for someone starting out while great for a smoker wanting a mild stick with great flavor.

With this blend who needs Cubans! Cuban seed leaves, superior quality and flavor. If only it had a torpedo and corojo 99 Rosado wrapper, this would be the only stick in my humi and it’ll beat the Perfexion X any day with far less age. I should actually stop talking already and give it a 1 star….

Beats most Cubans out here. Vanilla, citrus, white chocolate, sweet cedar and cream. Feels light but viscous on the palate.
