Unbelievable value found in this sampler pack. I’ve yet to smoke the Jaime Garcia ever, but the others I’ve had at various times in the past. My Father has a unique depth, strength, and terroir that really does scratch an itch. Starting with the La Antiguadad; Extremely consistent flavor profile of brownie batter, crisp cedar, black pepper in the retro-hale, and an overall intense at times saltiness that I would attribute to the unique terroir of My Father. Strength developed to medium / full quite quickly. Flavors remained consistent throughout, but the sheer nicotine strength developed into a sourness on the tongue, this was to be expected and should be welcomed. Centurion is relatively mellow (considering its a My Father) and consistent as well. Super roasty and a nuttiness present. Does benefit very much from sitting in a humidor for a few months, because that sourness towards the end doesn’t necessarily complement the flavors and profile of this cigar. Manageable. I remember the Gran Oferta as being incredibly butterscotch heavy and very salty. Had some burn issues with the Oferta as the humidity of the cigar was a bit high, benefits from being on the dryer side as it relates to your environment. Don’t let the Claro look of the Cuban Classic fool you into believing this cigar is mellow – a great example of strength and intensity in this format. Tremendous amount of cedar and oak, black, red, and white pepper oscillating through the retro -hale, sheer strength effervescence on the tongue like Chinese peppercorns. Balance is provided from slight sweetness coming from a classic tobacco flavor, but this cigar profile is mostly savory and dry.
