Great addition to my humidor & these have to be the best barber pole I’ve had. Flavor & smoothness throughout!

I really like this one. The barber pole design is neat. The flavor is really mild to start and towards the medium at the end. The smoke is nice, draw is fantastic.

One of the better barber poles on the market today, mild to medium, good smoke output some natural sweetness on the draw mostly in the 1st third. Great cedar flavors throughout. Overall, a solid 8.5/10 .

The first barber pole I have really enjoyed, a great smoke. My only complaint was that I received a bundle instead of a box to add to my collection.

Newer aficionado here. This stick is incredible. First off, the barber pole wrap is such a classy look. Burn is absolutely fantastic. At start I was getting some leather, earth, cedar and a light cream finish. It draws wonderfully and is incredibly smooth. A great stick for newer people like me to pick out flavors and I believe the older aficionados would really enjoy this. Definitely gonna order more.

As fate would have it, I tried this cigar only yesterday. First barber pole. That cigar smoked like a chimney and tasted great. I believe Tim somehow knew about my experience.. because I got a coupon emailed to me today for Cigars Daily smokes. Well played, well played. One box, please.

Great stick for the price point, the close foot gives it a burst of flavor out the gate with heavy spice on light up, that falls away and leaves a more open flavor. Forgive my description but i am not great at flavor notes, the Robusto size has hints of peanuts and that lingering pepper. I am going to try the Toro at some point as i have found some blends are drastically different from one size to the next. Construction is consistent, the flavor is almost always spot on and the burn rarely messes up. I do not get the creamy note a lot of reviews mention but i get that peanut note and the light pepper at the back of the throat. I would say buy a 5 pack try it for yourself i love them!

I’ve had a few of these now. And I must say this Liga Zebra is one of my favorite sticks by American Viking. Love a closed foot on light up, and the flavor was nice and mellow ( don’t need or want a blow your face off pepper bomb at the end of the day). Draw was nice and the smooth/creamy texture was just right. Could not think of a better way to end the day than sitting with my dog enjoying a good cigar. Keep up the good work American Viking.

Really enjoyed this cigar! I usually gravitate toward the fuller bodied sticks, but I’ve been trying some more mild options recently. Enjoyed the flavor, and the draw and burn were flawless. Will be buying more of these, as well as trying more from American Viking.

II rate this cigar at 91. Sweet, peanut butter, creaminess and cedar throughout. After I bought a 4 pack of Peanut butter cup Stout for the next one. FIRST THIRD The dry draw is sweet, peanut butter earthy, and faint cocoa. At light up, this cigar is creamy and sweet with hints of white pepper and cedar. The cedar crawls forward with the next few puffs. The burn is even, the wrapper beautiful, and the smoke is silky. SECOND THIRD Creamy peanut butter. Spicy Cedar. This cigar is nothing if not flavorful. The burn continues to be a sharp line intersecting the Maduro and Connecticut leaves. The ash is a bright, snowy white. The draw is open, no plugs. The deeper I delve into this toro the creaminess and nut bread element becomes more prominent. FINAL THIRD The flavors have ramped up, the strength as well. Some of the earthiness has come to the forefront. The burn continues to be even. Overall the peanut butter bread and cedar remained constant.

Great cigar, mine burned almost prefectly, didn’t need to touch it up. Great draw, and full of flavors, good job Tim.

Started smoking 6 months ago, I have had 2 of these so far and it's one of my favorites right now and I just ordered a box.

My first barber pole cigar, this did not disappoint. The smooth combination on the Maduro and Connecticut wrappers really compliment the more punchy notes of the binders and fillers and creates this mixed blend that satisfice your pallet.

I was pretty excited to try this cigar. It's the 8th Barber Pole and Tim's review was really positive. I love the mixed wrappers and have found these enjoyable cigars that are "just fun" - Sadly this one just didn't impress me like I hoped. It's a lovely looking cigar, great looking construction. Clever looking band. Cut/Light - Nice early sweetness, little pepper and tight draw. 1/3 - Strong white pepper and cedar, some light coffee flavors. The draw continued to be tight but otherwise It started okay. 2/3 - At this point I typically really expect the flavor profile to come through but found it not really hitting anymore more than cedar, and some light coffee notes - maybe it's my my pallet? Started to burn wavy and the tight draw annoyed me. Pulled out the trusty "Perfect draw" and that seemed to help. 3/3 - Draw was better but it still died have a set it down for 2 minutes which surprised me. Little canoeing. Flavors never really improved for me. Stopped at 1 1/2 inch. Was no longer enjoying it. Final thoughts - I'd been saying that I'd not found a barberpole I didn't like - Well... This time kinda - However, I bought two and will try the other in a week and see if my experience is the same - I'll update or renew my review then.

Nice construction and I love a closed foot,was surprised at the lightness of flavor upon light up. Mostly pepper but light with a burnt cedar finish. Smoothed out a few draws in but it took a few draws to get a nice amount of smoke. Had some tunneling issues at first as well but the burn evened out, only a few touch ups needed. Second third gave way to creamy leather but the burnt wood stayed in the back ground. Enjoyed the second half the most but a little too strong in nicotine for me. Retrohale was harsh and unpleasant.

Not gonna lie, got this stick because it looks awesome! But to my surprise, the taste was even BETTER! I just ordered some more and I don't even think they will fit in my humidor.

first barber pole i have ever smoked. I enjoyed the cigar but it had some funky burn at times. the last third was super good for a 7$ stick though

This was my first barber pole to try. I liked it a lot very creamy smoke that gave me the best of Connecticut and the Maduro wrappers. The only downside was having to touch it up several times.

I haven't smoked it yet. I just wanted to say that the presentation of the cigar looks delicious. I get cravings for a fresh baked pretzel with some cheddar cheese dip just looking at the cigar.

I ordered the Liga Zebra from Cigars Daily and I had it sit in my humidor for 3 weeks. Fired that baby up this weekend and WOW! This is good stick! It's smooth, creamy, and great flavor. Can’t forget the appearance, it’s a nice-looking Cigar. Adding to my collection.

Fantastic cigar! Great burn for a barber pole and flavors are perfect. Im more of a full bodied cigar smoker but this is def a good one when im looking to change things up.

The hype lived up to it. great smoke suuupper buttery and nice clean draw. Only downfall was playing catch up down the pole.

Another great American viking addition. Great mellow smoke with amazing flavor. The burn was even all the way through and held it's ash to the midpoint. Highly recommend.

This was my favorite cigar in 2020 and now still in 2021. Smooth cedar all the way through. Gold standard for Medium strength. Room note is cedar/floral and very nice.

AMAZING FLAVOR! Draw was too tight for me. Used Colibri v cutter and poked a small hole. Cigar burned uneven until the final third. I had to keep touching it up. Flavor was great from start to finish but the draw and the uneven burn ruined it for me. I'm guessing I got a one-off bad one.

Excellent presentation: wrapper is quite a sight to behold. A true flavor bomb: cedar, oak, sawdust, mint, cashew and almond. A bit harsh through the first third, it really opened up in the final two thirds and became a smooth smoke. Quality of the blend was outstanding. I had some problems with the burn (a couple of touch-ups and one relight). I will definitely buy again.

Just finished my first Liga Zebra robusto- it was awesome from start to finish....one of the best!!!!

So I got this stick based on Tim’s review. I hate to say it but I’m smoking it right now as I’m writing this review and I’m not impressed. The draw tight until the last third, it has had very bitter taste throughout and the burn is uneven. I’ve had $2 sticks that taste and smoke way better (sorry Tim). I’m not giving up on it though. I just ordered a toro to see if the longer stick can provide a better experience. We shall see....

I liked the flavor of this. The barber pole presentation is beautiful and the band is awesome. It provided plenty of smoke and nice cedar and nut notes that were pleasant. I did catch a slight hit of mint on the transition to the 2nd third which was real nice. Definitely will grab a couple more for the humidor. I’m starting my journey to American Viking cigars... the Filthy Viking is next on my radar.

Hands down my favorite cigar. Flavor from start to finish with multiple great transitions from creamy, to nutty, to a little spice, and finishing with a combination of it all to set you straight. The Liga Zebra is a stick that holds up to even pricier cigars. Try it! You will love this no matter your taste or smoking experience!

I bought the sampler and was looking forward to this cigar the most! I was worried my expectations would disappoint me however, I spent approx one hour enjoying this cigar until the end of the third. Slightly tight wrap it seemed draw would be 3/5 on just this one experience but the flavor and presentation far outweighed the negative. My goal is to purchase a box of these! I recommend!!!

Got this in a mystery pack. Absolutely loved it. Very creamy and peanuty. Amazing easy to smoke. I would give this to any of my friends who want to try a cigar for the first time. Can’t wait to fill my humidor with these. Cheers

I originally left a bad review on this cigar and I quickly received a new one. My original cigar was just a dud because the new one I received had no issues. The only downside for me personally is it's just kinda plain but that's okay cause someone else may love it. Thank you for the great customer service

Still relatively new to cigars, and still exploring the confusing array of choices out there. Tim's enthusiasm and informative videos convinced me to try the Liga Zebra.... loved it! For me, it was moderate strength. I got a slight pepper and cedar flavor, with plenty of creamy smoke. It was one of the most enjoyable smokes I have come across. it will be a constant in my growing humidor. Is there a similar stick that has a little more sweetness?

I had an extremely bad experience with this cigar. Flavor wasn't there for me. Just tasted like plain tobacco which isn't necessarly bad. Had an uneven burn, very tight draw, and had large stems on the wrapper throughout the cigar. The beginning was actually "smooth" but, because the draw was so tight I was having to puff harder and faster and that caused the cigar to end up tasting ashy. I'm an extremely slow smoker and I was disappointed when I was having to work to keep the cigar lit. The tight draw ruined the flavor and the uneven burned made it a hastle, I wasn't able to Finnish the last third of this stick sadly. I mean no disrespect to the company and maybe I just got a bad stick but this was a let down especially since its a cigar daily exclusive that has a beautiful barber pole wrapper.

Wow. Very impressed. Smoked great. Good smoke output, smooth burn, perfect draw, and very flavorful. Definitely will order more on next order. Unfortunately, only ordered one (in Viking sampler). Will go through the others and see how they are, but this was very impressive. Been looking for a good cigar to try and share with non-smoking buddies - I think this is the one that I will try and get them introduced to the joys of cigar smoking.

Rested it for about two weeks in my humidor before trying. Good flavor and draw. Stayed lit. Fairly priced.

Extremely strong Ash razor sharp Burns very good draw. This cigar has flavor profiles in it that I can't personally pick out but are quite enjoyable. One of the few cigars that I can actually retro Hale all of the smoke without it burning my nose definitely like that. Very good smoke output as well. Yummy

What can I say, I just really enjoyed this stick! The presentation and the new band are great! Right from light up I got great flavor! smooth, creamy and earthy notes were most apparent for me! Construction and burn were great. Any slight burn problems corrected themselves. I was quite surprised about how much I enjoyed it. I don’t know how anyone can give it less than 5 stars. Will purchase again!

This is my second time smoking the Liga Zebra. I smoked it a year ago with no band and it was pretty good. The new band looks great and WOW the flavors are more pronounced. I know the band has nothing to do with the flavors but something changed. Very good construction and the flavors are great. Excellent price and a definite go to cigar. Great Job Cigars Daily.

This cigar is quickly becoming one of my favorites! I have smoked about 10 of these so far and each and every one never disappoints. Sometimes the burn may need to be evened out, but it always ends up burning true. I always get a nice hint of leather which is what brings me back. It’s not a hard draw but also not the smoothest, though you won’t have to put in much effort. Based on Tims recommendation I gave this a try when I got it in a sampler (the herd). It hasn’t disappointed me yet and I have had too much enjoyment from them so far to think otherwise. Great stick at the price and a very enjoyable smoke. Thanks Tim!

Great stick. A bit on the mild side for my preference but it was tasty and well constructed. And it looks super cool! A bit large on the ring gauge for my taste but definitely a great stick.

Nice light smoke,fairly even burn.Good with rum and coke.Ash hangs on well. Plenty of smoke.Inexpensive even after taking into account shipping to Britain. Dread to think what I would have to pay for a cigar this size and quality at any UK retailer.

I, unfortunately, did not have a good experience with this cigar.. I found it too spicy for my tastes, but worse than that, I tasted an overpowering metallic taste the entire smoke. I'm not experienced enough to determine if it was me or the cigar. I may give it another go later.

Received my ligas earlier this week in Ireland ????????.. delivery excellent as always. Beautiful cigar from construction to smoking the cigar I was really impressed.

Got this in a sample pack and I must say it started with a nice mellow creamy flavor but not to creamy in the first 3rd. Second 3rd the flavor picked up but not too strong but a nice change over a plane Connecticut. The last 3rd tasted a bit more like your standard medium flavored stick that wasn't overly strong. All in all I would say this falls in a nice any time type of smoke especially if you are on a budget. Only 4 stars just because it didnt have that wow factor but at the same time I wasn't expecting it to have that wow factor. As far as the one I recieved the draw and burn was good only had to correct it once. If you are a budget minded aficionado smoker I feel this would be a good start.

Well, overall the flavor was GREAT! However, the burn and draw were pretty bad. Very little smoke output, had to puff at least 3 times to get a good draw. Also, going into the last 3rd it started to unwrap and eventually became too loose to smoke. Pretty bummed out. I’d love to try another though. If it wouldn’t have fallen apart on me and had a better draw, it would’ve been 5 stars!

Not a fan. I got this in a sampler and I wanted to be a fan but after just one I can't. Maybe it wasn't the norm for this stick but it never had an even burn. The 1st 3rd had a nice draw and lots of smoke but quickly changed. I wanted to see if the burn evened out but it never did. I touched it up but it kept going catiwampus.I ended up walking away from it. I was disappointed because Tim's review was so good.

This was a pretty good smoke, but not for the price. I Picked this up as part of a sampler. Smooth draw and it did the job. Would buy again if it were to go on sale.

Tried to smoke this cigar tonight and found it to have an almost impossible draw as if the tobacco was packed too tightly. Even after poking it with a key to increase the draw I got nothing. This stick was a part of the 8-pack sampler so I will probably not purchase again individually. So far it has been the only disappointment thus far from the sampler pack.

Perfect first stick of the day. Smooth and creamy goes well with good coffee or a beer - yep great with a good beer actually went well with a mild IPA the creamy nutty flavor of the zebra balanced the slight bitterness of the hops. This stick is going on my must have a box at all times list

The draw on mine was rather tight and I wasn't able to get much smoke at all. I had to do two quick puffs followed by a long third to get a decent amount of smoke, but that overheated the cigar. Great flavor, but halfway through it was almost unsmokeable. *Edit: There was a knot in the middle, now that I'm past that point, draw is perfect and great smoke output. Much better now.

Excellent tasting stick. Had to correct the burn a few times between layers but great flavor all around. Great for the patio after dinner.

Great stick for the price, so far my favorite for the house blends. This is 100% better then my experience with the tiger. I will be buying this cigar again. It was creamy and a mellow smoke for me. I love full bodied cigars so this might be stronger for some. I would recommend this to anyone. I see why Tim says this is a go to for cigars daily.

Just wanted to say how impressed i've been with the Liga Zebras. I've had several so far and haven't had a SINGLE problem! Great burn, consistent, smooth. I have no second thoughts about recommending these to ANYONE! My favorite barber pole so far!

I may not be as experienced as others; however, I will say this was a very enjoyable cigar. As others have stated, it is very smooth, the smoke from it is great, and overall makes for a very enjoyable experience. Definitely plan on getting more of these down the line.

The Zebra is a great stick!! It's just a super creamy and smooth smoke at a price that won't break the bank. I feel like 90% of cigar smokers would enjoy this cigar.
