From DrewEstate.com, “Translated to English, “Liga Privada” means “private blend.” It is the perfect name, as this cigar was originally crafted not for resale, but for our own personal humidors. Dozens of intricate blends were created, but No. 9 was flawless in both flavor and character. Rich, complex and full bodied without being harsh, this amazing vitola is best described in one word: satisfying.“

It’s not hype, this is a special cigar. Construction is second to none; perfect draw, even burn, and it stays lit without having to babysit it. This stick exudes ropes of aromatic smoke. Long finish and great mouth feel. The flavor is what intrigues me the most. There’s just some kind of magical taste that I can never put my finger on but it keeps me puffing away. Worth every penny.

Amazing smoke. Great taste all the way through. Even burn. My absolute favorite cigar to smoke. The hype is real!

Finally got my hands on this baby! WOW! Definitely a special occasion kind of stick. Good smoke to the end…watch that nicotine high…you’ll feel it. All and all a great smoke.

This stick is everything it’s made out to be. Good smoke output, construction is awesome and the flavors are on point. Well worth the price.

Great cigar after a long work week. Tons of smoke. One can hotbox alone with one cigar!

It’s not just hype. This may be the greatest cigar of all time.

Rich, creamy, perfect balance of spice, pepper, oak amd leather. Great draw, ash and construction. So good I had to use a roach clip.

I rate this cigar at 95.
Great smoke! Main flavor notes of chocolate, carmel, spice, floral, earth and nutmeg. Undertones of white pepper, coffee, wood and cocoa. Full body smoke and strength. This is what a cigar smoking experience is supposed to be!
Cigar Afficionado rating 94.
FIRST THIRD
Subtle chocolate, cocoa notes and caramel. As the first third comes to a close there is a slightly floral note developing. Creamy milk chocolate with coffee dominates the palate. The retro has tamed down to a baking spice with nutmeg front and center. Cocoa powder on the finish with a feint white pepper on the back end.
SECOND THIRD
Develops some charcoal notes. There is a steak like note present as well. Earthiness shifts to the front but is matched by a smooth aged tobacco with a dark chocolate as a foundation. The retro hale is a creamy mix of nutmeg with a little white pepper coming in a few seconds after. Black coffee mixed a little bitter chocolate on the finish. The creaminess disappearing.
FINAL THIRD
Develops notes of leather and coffee, with a subtle spice through the nose. It’s bitter, earthy, sweet, and just a little creamy. Red pepper moves to the front on the retro with Nutmeg and fades into chocolate cream pie finish.

Great draw, right up my alley flavor wise with earth, espresso, leather, and bitter dark chocolate from start to finish. Fantastic stick! Haven’t smoked a ton of cigars as of yet but these will definitely stay in rotation.
