Leaf by Oscar 10th Anniversary Criollo Toro (6×52)

My absolute favorite by Oscar Valladares. My dad brought me one from Honduras last year and I've loved then ever since. Grassy and light leather. Approachable even for beginners. Amazing construction and consistency.

Was very enjoyable, Earthy, coffee, cream, sweetness. Pepper ramped up at final third. Future box purchase for sure.

I left this one in the humidor for so long I forgot it was in there. I order random cigars here and there to try. Usually I try the anniversary editions if available. Anyways, I stumbled across it yesterday and planned to sit down and smoke it today. It doesn't disappoint at all. An enjoyable blend, medium bodied, and earthy through and through. Beautiful construction, taking the leaf off is an unique experience to be sure, solid construction, burns even (not one touch up is necessary), the retro is smooth and has rich earthiness. I won't lie to you and say I was blown away but it is a good cigar, definitely get your money's worth, and a good example of medium bodied with earth with black pepper at the back of the throat during the final third. The pepper is pleasant and medium bodied, smooth if anything, definitely a pleasant example of black pepper. I will definitely grab another one to enjoy again.
