Description
The fire cured tobacco used in this blend is a rarity for premium cigars.ย Tobacco is normally cured by hang drying in air, these special leaves are left to hang in specially-constructed curing barns. Which is a process that dates back more than 200 years and that instills each leaf with a rich, smoky, slightly sweet flavor that boasts exceptional balance and uniqueness.
Summary
Jumping into this Cigarillo there are small notes of oak, hickory, and maple-laced sweetness that explode on the palate. The leaves are joined by Nicaraguan and Brazilian Mata Fina long-fillers, along with a San Andres Maduro wrapper. To cap things off, a sweetened cap provides a whole new mouthfeel to this cigar. Flavors of bacon, maple, bourbon and BBQ latch to the palate.Additional information

New smoker here!
I was recommended a Kentucky Fire Cure cigar because I mentioned I like sweet!
Was very happy with them so I decided to try the ponies.
Was very pleased with how they smoked & the BBQ smoke smell they give off.
Also being about the same size as a cigarette itโs a nice change from smoking a 60-90 minute cigar.
After getting a tin & going through them pretty fast I decided to get another tin.
Only problem the cigar store wanted $20 tin plus tax where I bought them here for $18. I decided to grab 5 tins for $67 delivered no tax.
Always smart to shop around!
Again nice alternative to a large stick!

New to the cigar world and decided to get these to get my foot in the door, lets just say these are fantastic for what they are. Incredibly rustic and simple. Yet they pack a decent amount of flavor and charm. If you like sweetness on the lips, BBQ, hickory, oak and a good after taste then give these a try! Not too subtle nor not to strong.

Delicious little things. Iโve tried the bigger ones without the sweet tips, but these are way better. Great for sitting by a fire.

First tin of ponies I've bought before. As a fan of the swamp thing and Kentucky fire cured cigars I think this is a perfect 20-30ish minute experience and still getting that nice hickory flavor with no lingering taste for a few hours. If you like the Kentucky fire cured line I highly suggest these

Sweet on the lips. Comparable to a heavily peated scotch.

This was my first tin of ponies, these are my favorite smokes, very sweet, burn great, and they fit my ability to set still for about 20 minutes.

This was the first tin of cigars Iโve ever purchased and let me say I loved them great 20-25 min smoke. Great construction, great draw, even burn; the sweetened tip adds just the right amount of sweetness to the Smokey flavor. Thanks to these I think Iโll be trying other tins. Thanks Tim found you on YouTube got yourself a lifetime buyer.
