Espinosa Crema Rabito (6×46)

There are plenty of Connecticut cigars out there in the world but there are few that stand out as being exactly the right amount of mellow creaminess. Enter stage left – Espionsa Crema. Literally named “cream” it boasts all of the wonderfully, buttery goodness you could imagine but without being too fattening. Give it a shot, you’ll love it.

I’m new to cigars and based on the description I figured this would be a good mild cigar for me. I’ve smoked mostly infused cigars with sweetened caps up to this point, but this was a good transition.
I got a lot of pepper on the first few draws but it mellowed out quickly and it was mellow all the way through the 2nd 3rd. It wasn’t until I got into the last 3rd that I really started to get an obvious creamy vannila note, but that’s probably mostly due to my inexperience.
I did run into some burn issues in the last 3rd as well… The burn got a little uneven and corrected itself once, but got uneven again and I had to correct it. Then I also had to relight it once as I was taking the band off and that sorta killed the enjoyment for me. Probably only took another half dozen or so draws before I decided I was done with it.
Overall a good cigar for a beginner like me, but I’m sure it has some potential to satisfy a more experienced smoker.
