A slight bite of pepper and spice at light up that lingering in the back of the throat. I got flavor notes of leather in the first third. Very smooth with heavy smoke with each puff. Going into the 2nd 3rd, I'm still getting a leatheriness with slight notes of earth. There is not much flavor development, but still great flavor overall. Towards the end of the 2nd 3rd and going into the final, I had more of a nuttiness, and I didn't get much of any other flavor development. Still very smooth with each puff. Overall, it was a decent cigar but not a lot of development in the flavor department. The draw was ideal from start to finish with no change. The burn was exceptional, with no touch-ups needed showing great construction. I'll be coming back to this cigar as I did enjoy the heavy smoke and the smoothness of it.

I raise my rating a bit. The best part of this cigar is the second third when the tobacco heats up a little. Some new cedar undertones arise. Not bad.
