Wanted to wait to have at least 3 of these cigars under the belt before the review. What a wonderful Cigar, with some surprises.
Total Smoke time: 43 mins
Overall, as expected the Cigar is yet another winner by Steve Saka and DTT. The wrapper band firmness and oils were 4, 3, 3, 1 for presentation and not much oil was present at light up and firmnessand wrapper, band and other aspects pre-light were very good
As to the smoking characteristics, an even easy light, no burn issues, other than one touch up toward the final third, and draw was just a tad tight, but opened up to a perfect draw quickly. Scores: 5,10,8
As to Flavor: This is the surprising part. I expected it to start as a huge strength bomb. However, it started rather mild with light smoke production but ramps up as you enter the 2nd third. A very nice introduction with mild coffee, walnut, and a light pepper, and cedar. The retrohale is mild in this 1st 3rd. maybe just a hint of cinnamon, and some black licorice.
The second third opens with the woods continuing, with some almond and the black licorice starting to take a backseat to the pepper and cinnamon. Smoke production a huge increase, as well as a few new hints of graham cracker, maybe some rum, and oak Huge baking spice and pepper on retohale. Strength really ramps up 9,9,8 on scale and very smooth no harshness at all.
The final third is where in this stick, the oils begin to show in the wrapper and the peppers, baking spices, and woody tones really begin to take the forefront. STRONG and WONDERFUL. With a Broadleaf wrapper, Andreas Binder and fillers from other Saka Cigar blends it makes for a very nice small package very nicely paired with coffee in the morning, or later with Whisky, or Beer. It is a good all around cigar for anytime IMHO. If you are NOT into pepper this may not be one for you, however if you are this is a definite buy. Also a big standout is the price. A budget cigar with a High End personality, and final scoring at 12,8,6,4,5. Scores based on the Cigars Daily Review Journal.
My Final Score: 95/100 and definitely Box worthy

Received a 5 pack to try a couple days ago and it was everything I hoped it would be. Great burn, draw and smoke ! Well done Saka! And thanks CD for getting these to me!

This is a great short smoke type of stick. It’s nice to get a Saka creation under $8. The construction and burn were great. The flavors kicked off right away and were pretty consistent throughout.

This right here is really good! Price is even better! Highly recommend. I’m no expert with flavors but this has that natural sweetness, nutty and espresso flavors🤓

I think what really does this for me is how it is a blend that really is from across the board with Saka’s other lines. It is a perfect little smoke with a little bit of meatiness to it, which does sound a bit weird but it is so good. I love so many of Saka’s other sticks but this one is a go to when I’m craving any Dunbarton, it really does a great job, that’s why I make sure to have a good stock for when the rest of my DTT well runs dry. 10/10!

These are some of my favorite cigars! They are smallish, but last around 30-40 min. Construction is solid. These cigars taste savory like a nice fatty steak. They make my mouth water. The flavor is very complex. I got a 5 pack, then another, and just bought a box. I can’t get enough!
