Drew Estate Factory Smokes Maduro Toro (6×52)

Have had mixed experience with these. Typically, good flavor but a bit of a rough smoke. However, the last couple of times I've ordered them, I've found that a number of them unravel a bit.

The price is low and the quality is high. Great burn. Holds a nice ash. Smooth draw. Good flavor. Great for when you want a cigar but don't have time to sit and enjoy something premium. Low enough price to give away but good enough to smoke yourself.

My everyday budget stick. Love em!

Great smoke for a sub $4 cigar.

These are a great choice for when I need to budget, but also for when I need a few full-bodied smokes in the humidor.

Still can't believe a bundle of these is so cheap. Great everyday cigar with surprising flavor. Lots of smoke and a good peppery/earth flavor. Only miss which you'd expect is constructions falls apart toward the end of the final 3rd. Worth every penny.

So good, sweet and decent strength. Better tasting than some I've bought for 10 bucks.

Nice and smooth. Not the most flavor I've had, but at the price it's plenty flavorful. Smoke output is crazy. Burns a little uneven at times, but nothing that can't be touched up.

Was very surprised at the quality of this stick even though it costs so little. It Burns great and tastes better. Definitely would be my first recommendation for someone looking for an inexpensive Maduro.

I’ve smoked about 300 of these in the last two months. It is my favorite cigar. I collect high end cigars and budget $1500 a month for cigars, I hit the B&M almost every day, three online accounts to shops to smoke all the blends I can find, but this drew estate factory smoke is about the only cigar that I can say is my favorite. It just gives me what I want from a cigar. I’ve taken a lot of heat from my smoking buds about the $2 it costs and they’ve had a lot of laughs calling me cheap. I’m laughing at them, more for me I always say. Sure these tunnel, a lot, but I’ve become an expert at correcting it, and touch ups, canoeing, I’ve learned more from these than any cigar out there. Most sticks have their sweet spot in the middle, but the factory smoke, it’s the final third that’s the real sweet spot. Sure it’s simple with a reduce flavor profile and it’s a short filler, but I wouldn’t enjoy cigars as much if Drew estate stoped making them. It’s weird where some people find their pot of gold. Everyone’s taste buds are different, I guess I’m just satisfied with what these bring to the table. Even if they were $5 each, I’d still smoke 150 of them a month. I already know most people won’t agree with this review but it’s just how I fell.

Struck out twice here. Originally, I tried the Connecticut Factory Smokes and really disliked it. I thought I would get a little more out of this one as Maduro wrappers tend to be more robust. Didn’t make a difference. The taste just wasn’t there and the wrapper leaf didn’t hold together. The only good thing I have to say is that the burn was even and the draw was impressive. Everything else about it was not a very enjoyable experience, but I guess you get what you pay for.

I’ve smoked about 60 of these in the last Month, it’s a cigar you can get use to having around. It’s a light Maduro with a light nicotine level. Flavor is consistent throughout. I’m surprised at how good they actually are. Some tunnel, some will come with factory defects, and the cap tears easily, but some are perfect and a few will smoke like long filler. They usually have an easy draw with a few different flavor profiles that seem blended, no spice or pepper, but they will heat up fairly easy in the final third. Pretty smooth and you can retrohale every hit without crying. Espresso and earthy with a tiny bit of sweetness. Great intro to a darker wrapper. The price is the takeaway here. These are better than the Tobaccos Biaz I ordered for sure, I haven’t found a Cuban sandwich I like better than these yet, they are my everyday smokes.

Good burn, nice draw, good amount of smoke. Has a slight powdery mouth feel. Taste reminded me of the smell of chocolate pudding powder mix when opening the packet just not as sweet. In my opinion taste is personal preference but I liked it more then most of the $6-$9 sticks Ive tried in terms of flavor, harshness and that "hot" sensation in your mouth.

For a $2 stick, this a great choice! Lots of good dark flavors with little spicy sweet on top.

Experience was way higher than the cost. Nice smooth flavor, burned a little uneven and fast but DEFINITELY worth 2 bucks !

Wasn’t as bad as the Connecticut, the darker wrapper was a little sweeter and the retro hale was better with less pepper on the finish but over all not my favorite budget smoke. You can tell it is a cheaper smoke, the construction is ok with the ash holding up. The draw was kinda loose with a straight cut but in trying it again with a V cut the draw got way better. Since I started smoking I’ve had 4 total factory smokes and have to say I’ve reach my limit with these..

Gotta say, I was surprised by this one. I expected a less than quality experience however I received quite the opposite! It had a wonderful burn, solid ash, and good flavors of dark earth and dark cacao nuts throughout. Would recommend as a starter maduro!
