Couldn’t find another way to complain other than calling so here goes nothing. Got this thing for the sale price of $20, and it worked for maybe 6 cigars and burned through gas like crazy. Now spare me the education, I know how lighters, good and bad work, so it’s not user error. Feel like I’ve been had. I could’ve eaten a twenty dollar bill and at least had a funny poop to point at.
Sad to say because I enjoy all Tim’s reviews, have had crazy fast orders with quality cigars, but CD shouldn’t put their logo on this lighter and it was a waste of money. I hope they make it up to me…
To leave on a high note, I just Love the Filthy Viking and the Obrigato.

The lighter itself was a dud for me. The flame would not light consistently, or remain lit. Fuel flow was inconsistent, so adjustment was next to futile. The shape of the flame was also uneven. No amount of bleeding, filling, or tinkering fixed these issues. All my other lighters do just fine, definitely not user error.
Luckily, Dustin fixed me up with a replacement (CD 2 -torch lighter), so I’m all set (you all have the best customer service), but I didn’t have good luck with this flat-flame torch. Maybe the manufacturer has some QC issues?

inconsistent lighting experience. wanted to really like this lighter but sadly it’s a bust for me. The biggest problem is it stays lit and keeps pumping after I release the button. I love the design, but it’s a backup now to my $5 plastic orange cheap smoke shop torch lighter. Hopefully, CD fixes this as I really like the look and feel but the positives end there.
