The Casa Carrillo Battleborn is a limited-edition cigar that unites exceptional craftsmanship with a powerful purpose. Created in honor of veterans and inspired by Casa Carrillo’s own Lionel H. McKoy, this cigar pays tribute to the strength, courage, and dedication of those who have served.
Handcrafted under the direction of Ernesto Perez-Carrillo Jr., the Battleborn features a bold Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper over dual binders from Mexico and Nicaragua, and a core of premium Nicaraguan fillers. The result is a full-bodied experience that delivers waves of earth, pepper, cedar, and dark chocolate, balanced by a clean finish that captures the signature smoothness of Casa Carrillo cigars.
Each draw is rich with depth and meaning, embodying both power and precision. Limited to just 2,500 individually numbered boxes, the Battleborn comes adorned with a camouflage-themed presentation and a collectible dog tag—making it not only a remarkable smoke but also a symbol of honor and respect. Casa Carrillo Battleborn is more than a cigar—it’s a salute, rolled in tobacco and legacy.

I usually start my day with something milder, but wanted to catch this one before I oversmoked my palette as I frequently do on the weekends. Great way to start a good day; strong!
If selected as a “special occasion” or even a “gift” cigar, this one won’t disappoint! Even though today is not a special occasion, it is the Sunday following Veterans Day so that kind of counts!

Nice and full of flavor. Exceptional band. As a Veteran, I appreciate the work and thoughtfulness that was placed into making this cigar. Well done!
