The CAO America 250th Anniversary is built entirely around U.S.-grown tobaccos, making it one of the rarest constructions in the premium cigar world. The signature barber pole presentation wraps two distinct American leaves around each other, dark broadleaf spiraling alongside lighter Connecticut shade for a look as distinctive as the blend itself. Inside sits a U.S. Havana Connecticut binder and a filler of U.S. Broadleaf and Pennsylvania tobaccos, all box-pressed into a wide, comfortable Robusto that gives the blend plenty of room to develop.
The profile centers around earth, cedar, dark chocolate, leather, and subtle natural sweetness in a balanced, medium-bodied smoke that rewards from first light to the finish. The original CAO America debuted in 2007, but this 250th Anniversary edition reimagines it entirely as a true American puro. Two hundred and fifty years. One cigar to mark the moment.

I had the pleasure of having this cigar just after I lowered my flag at sunrise on Memorial Day. I bought a box during the live show and requested it be signed by Tim, Amber, Billy, and Terrence.
