This was a disappointing offering from Fuente even for an economy stick. We usually really enjoy Fuente and have several in our humidors. We were not expecting the best but at least a decent contender for a daily smoke. Construction was good but we experienced a tight draw on one and no draw on the other making it non-smokable. There was some notes as would be expected in a Maduro like leather and cedar but it got really bitter after the first third. Neither of us could finish the cigar and abandoned it before the halfway mark on one and before finishing the first third on another.
As always, though, Cigars Daily provides a great service with prompt and careful shipping and a wide variety of cigars to choose from. This cigar just didn’t deliver for us.
