AJ Fernandez knocks it outta the park with this line of smokes!

A great medium-full-bodied cigar by A.J. and a great value. The construction, as are all A.J.'s cigars, is excellent with hardly visible thin veins. And after smoking almost two boxes of this Puro Especiale it has an easy draw, a consistent burn with rare touch-ups. A smooth dark outer leaf with a toothy smoke that has several flavors surface as the cigar progresses. Initially, for me, some hay and some coffee with the first few puffs offered a peppery cleanse to the palate. It is a very balanced cigar with a slight sweetness Coming in as you get to the 2nd third. The finish offers different notes with strength but no bitterness. This Nicaraguan Habano has become my favorite cigar and I keep some to offer it to guests and cigar buddies. It is a very pleasant smoke and delivers. I will have these on hand as long as A.J. makes them.

I found this AJ selection to be a full on beast. Pitch black habano wrapper, with high powered fillers. It didn’t waste any time getting to that full body, flavor and strength. This stick had exceptional construction. Smooth, clean draw with a perfect burn. Much enjoyed.

Good smoke with nice flavor. Peppery but not too much. Would definitely buy again .

I got this in the robusto size, and the flavor was nice, but there just wasn't enough of it. It started out with a light earth and pepper that carried all the way through to the final third where the pepper died down and was replaced by kind of a dried fruity sweetness. I enjoyed the flavors but they were only mild-medium at the most and they faded extremely quickly after each draw. Overall I enjoyed the cigar but wasn't worth the price for me since I didn't get a whole lot of flavor from it. But if you like a mild cigar, then you'll probably like this. No nicotine strength either.
