Description

One of the hottest manufacturers on the market today is without a doubt AJ Fernandez. So much so that companies are tapping him to make cigars for their own portfolio. One of AJ's greatest achievements is the Bellas Artes. The company describes the cigar as, โ€œInspired by the Bellas Artes National museum in Cuba, Bellas Artes stands as AJ Fernandezโ€™ testament to the fine art of cigar making."ย And what a fine art that is.

Summary

Time; It's what we seem to always run out of no matter what we do. There are many good things that come with time like the experiences and memories that we take with us on our day to day journeys. And with time, the aging of a cigar will bring out its best attributes just like it's done with us. So as a testament to age and the fine art of cigar making, AJ Fernandez graces us with another blend like no other - Bellas Artes.

Creamy and smooth with notes of dark chocolate, roasted nuts, espresso, and a touch of dried fruit sweetness. Medium-full body with good richness, but the pepper is more controlled than some AJ Fernandez blends. The Maduro wrapper adds a nice velvety texture and dessert-like character.

Good change of pace from the habano version. Enjoyed both. This stick exudes pepper, chocolate with a slight sweetness. Great with a good cup of Joe in the morning or bourbon in the evening.

Another solid cigar from the A J Fernandez family. Classic Nicaraguan smoke with smooth flavor steady burn.

A great cigar! I first had the Habano version so I wasn't expecting there to be so much pepper but it wasn't a bad thing. Chocolate and pepper were the main notes that stood out to me.

This is a very nice cigar. There are plenty of tasting notes, although I didnโ€™t get as many as other reviews. I can definitely tell there is San Andreas in this recipe and I love that. You wonโ€™t go wrong spending time with this one and a good cup of coffee. Mine did need a touch up on the burn, but it behaved after that. Definitely a pleasant experience.

This is a good Maduro thatโ€™s a little different than usual Maduros. You will find dark chocolate, vanilla, coffee, toast, wood, creaminess, black pepper, sweet spice, and cherry. Very nice cigar.

This one didn't really agree with me. It lacked flavor and burned unevenly.

A very good flavorful stick with plenty of spices throughout. An even burn, great draw. It lasted over an hour and half. It goes well with some black coffee.
